Our story
iMentorkids started in 2020 as an online tutoring platform, using the right online tools to make learning easy and to give children quality educational support. We aim to build a strong foundation in math and to grow each child's natural ability: a place where kids get the support they need to thrive, think outside the box, and express their own ideas. Above all, we want to develop independent thinkers who can find solutions in every way possible.
Our mission
We empower children with the skills and confidence to excel in math and science. Our goal is a strong educational foundation that encourages critical thinking and inspires creativity.
Our approach
Every child is unique and learns differently. Our tutoring is flexible and personal, with individual and group sessions available in person and online.
Services
Grade-specific STAAR preparation in math, high school and college-level math support, and SAT preparation.
A note from our founder
Feyi Akeredolu
I am a wife and mother of two lively kids in elementary and middle school. I love singing and writing songs. I found my passion for tutoring in 2017, teaching children aged 3 to 7 at a STEM summer camp. I enjoyed it so much that I went on to private one-on-one tutoring for preschool and elementary children in math, reading and science.
Tutoring has been deeply rewarding. Watching children move from uncertainty to confidence, and explain what they know clearly, never gets old.
